my current best times are 12.4 @ 110 mph,i cant really raise the boost levels above 12psi,because when i raised it to 16 psi,i noticed a leak coming from the charger shaft seal.i want to rectify this problem before i ruin the internal gears of the charger.my best time so far was on 14" stock wheels that weigh 25 lbs with the slicks. My questions are as follows :I want to do one or more of the following and anyone who has had any experience with any of the following things, feel free to givee me some of your input.
1.If i get some lighter drag wheels with taller slicks(LENSO's(8lbs)with 22" M&H slick),how much time could i possibly shave off my 1/4 mile.my best is 12.4 @ 110 mph and i missed 5th gear and rolled thru the finish,could have gotten a 12.3 easy.My best 60 ft. time has been a 1.8.
2.Maybe use a water injection along with the upgraded CRV pulley to bring me back to 16 psi,im not too sure on the water injection though, have heard too many mixed stories on this topic.and another thing is how high the rpms on the charger can take.
3.And lastly,go with a NOS system, possibly 30-40 shot, whatever the smallest shot possible that they have, because of the stock internals. If i was to go with the NOS route, would it be a better idea to add an additional injector at the intake tube or an additional fuel pump for the NOS,im not familiar with any of the NOS setups at all(wet or dry, additional injectors or fuel pump ? ).
well , anyone whos got some ideas on anything listed above, feel free.......

Hey I think the Lenso's with 22x8x13's will help out alot...I think Vaportrail answered in one of you other posts that should be in the 11's???

Since you are already running 1.8X short times, I doubt that you will drop another four or five tenths just by reducing your overall wheel/tire weight... maybe another tenth.
I would consider the NOS 25 shot next... plumb it as far from the Throttle body as possible... and if you have any type of fuel enrichment electronics (Fields VTEC controller or Apex-i VAFC), you might add 4-6% more fuel from 3K rpm on up. This should add about 40 hp to your current wheel figures... and that should put you into the 11's.
Good luck.
